Using Accurate Information To Advocate for God's Will
"Speak out for those who cannot speak, for the rights of all the destitute. Speak out, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy." - Proverbs 31:8-9

Legislative advocacy is a crucial part of building God's kingdom here on Earth. Our legislative efforts have been largely successful, and we look forward to continuing our mission to help federal and state laws to reflect God's will for all of us. Careful research and discernment goes into each of the provisions we advocate for when making our case. Our goal is to glorify God, not to pursue a personal agenda. Please take a look below to see what we currently have in the works.
West Virginia
Funding For Flood Resiliency Trust Fund
Current Status: Advocacy In Progress
In 2023, the Republican led State Legislature voted to create the Funding Resiliency Trust Fund in West Virginia. As our ministry engaged in disaster relief and food delivery throughout 2024 and 2025, we noticed the mass level of destruction caused by recent flood. Though the trust fund was created, no money was ever appropriated to the fund. We aim to change this, and our promise is that through our advocacy, this will be funded without putting a burden on taxpayers. We need to look out for our neighbors.
Ohio and Pennsylvania
Abolition of the Death Penalty
Current Status: Advocacy In Progress
As it currently stands, both Ohio and Pennsylvania have not banned the death penalty, though the Governors of each respective state have placed moratoriums on the practice. As a ministry that values forgiveness and the preservation of all life, we are working to get Governor Shapiro (D-PA) and Governor Mike DeWine (R-OH) to further extend these moratoriums.
West Virginia
Charlie Kirk Day of Remembrance
Current Status: Delegates Drafting Legislation
The tragic death of Turning Point USA CEO and Evangelical leader Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025 was such a heavy loss to the entire Christian Community. This man had a resolve that could only come from being filled with the Holy Spirit, and being close to the Lord in Prayer and daily lifestyle. In memory of Charlie Kirk, we propose a National Day of Remembrance on October 14 of each year. October 14 was Charlie Kirk's birthday.
Tennessee
Grocery Sales Tax Cut
Current Status: Advocacy In Progress
The cost of living all over America is too high, simply put. In the Appalachian region, this issue is only compounded by higher rates of poverty. We are reaching out to state legislators in Tennessee to cut the tax on groceries. Our organization believes that people shouldn't have to pay more just to be able to eat. That's one of the reasons we deliver food throughout the entire region.
West Virginia
Eliminating the Income Tax
Current Status: Advocacy In Progress
West Virginia has a population of only 1.77 million people, but posted a budget surplus in 2024 that was upwards of $700 Billion. With a low per capita-income, there is no reason that the income tax can't be cut. With some careful financial planning, and increased fiscal restraint, the abolition of the income tax can become a reality, and help lift thousands out of poverty while preserving the State's fiscal integrity. We are called by the Lord to be more responsible with our financial resources.
All States in Appalachia
Prohibition of Sharia Law
Current Status: Advocacy In Progress
Sharia Law is for lack of a better phrase, the "Code of Conduct" for those who practice Islam. And while we do not wish to impose on anyone's religious freedom, we must acknowledge that Sharia Law is simply incompatible with State Constitutions, along with the U.S. Constitution. Sharia Law calls for increased use of the death penalty, encourages cousin marriages, and violates women's constitutional rights. This must never happen.
West Virginia
Banning Abortion Pills
Current Status: Advocacy In Progress
In accordance with our Catholic faith, we stand strongly against any measure that takes a life. And yet despite West Virginia's near-total ban on abortion, the trafficking of abortion pills is still allowed in the state. We will advocate for the ban of abortion pills such as Mifepristone and Misoprostol in the state. It is our job to be a voice for the voiceless.
West Virginia
Criminal Penalties for Infringement on Religion
Current Status: Advocacy In Progress
Religious freedom is a pillar of the American Constitutional Republic. West Virginia currently has a provision that prevents any state office holder or state official from using their position to restrict someone's religious liberty. The problem is that these provisions don't specify penalties for such actions. Often times a person is simply forced to resign for breaking this type of law. We are pushing for harsher penalties here.
Maryland
Generic Budget Cuts
Current Status: Advocacy In Progress
Maryland currently faces a mind-boggling $3 Billion budget deficit. This is due mostly in part to a reduced labor force after the COVID-19 lockdowns, but a solution must be found. The threat of higher taxes looms whenever a budget deficit presents itself, and this only hurts more people. God wants us to flourish and do his will, not drown in tax debt. We propose cuts to various items, including the $1.2 sports stadium renovations in Baltimore City, and the $400 million rebuilding of the Pimlico race track.
West Virginia
Additional Protection Against Internet Pornography
Current Status: Advocacy In Progress
Sadly we cannot outright ban pornographic websites, as disgusting as they may be. But the State of West Virginia can ensure that children do not have access to it. We propose putting strict checks in place on pornography sites so that children cannot access them. These sites can poison minds, and reduce the worth of those watching pornographic material, and those participating in the making of pornographic material.
