Food Insecurity and Logistical Data Solutions
"If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill,” and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that?" - James 2:15-16
Providing meals to food pantries is the cornerstone of the Data Trust Apostolate, and is the most data-intensive project we have. The amount of coordination and calculation it takes to make a food delivery network of this scale work properly is quite time consuming. Each month, we ship and/or deliver meals all throughout the entire Appalachian region of the United States. We were grateful to hit our goal of 10,000 meals delivered in 2025. In 2026, our goal will be to deliver over 15,000 meals to the region.
